Comprehensive Plan and Design Guidelines set the City’s future land use and development framework and its potential annexation areas – a total of 25,000 acres. The plan includes a green belt/growth boundary based on efficient municipal services and infrastructure as well as preservation of productive edge farmland.
It accommodates 58,000 residents and includes design concepts for key sub-areas such as the Downtown and Interstate 65 Corridor.
